What You’ll Be Doing

Join the team of skilled software engineers who are responsible for developing and maintaining our core ecommerce platform at a time when we’re starting to think about what its next iteration will need to look like to support our growing family of photo personalisation businesses. You will learn about well established ecommerce practices and help us take them to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating the Photobox backend system.


• Maintaining and updating the website code.


• Evaluating requirements, participating in code reviews.


• Help the team on the journey of transforming to a new system.

What you will bring - essential skills and experience

• At least 2 years of experience with Perl


• Passion for clean code, code testability, readability and good coding practices

What you will bring - desirable skills and experience

• 2+ years of experience with web application development and service oriented architecture


• Experience with cloud computing environments


• Experience in other languages and/or desire to learn


• Experience with continuous integration environment using Jenkins or equivalent and source control repositories
