The IT Governance Engineering team at Apple is responsible for developing automation to help manage the security, privacy, compliance, and governance of critical services we deliver to our internal and external customers via our own data centers and third party cloud environments. This is a hands-on management role that will lead all aspects of the design, delivery, and support of innovative software that will enable us ensure our thousands of services are secure, compliant, and effective. This is a superb opportunity for a someone who wants to learn both the business and technical side of a large technology delivery organization, including influencing how the information technology services that run Apple are built, deployed, and secured.

We are seeking a software development manager who will be responsible for building and leading a team, responsible for delivering innovative solutions to the security, privacy, compliance, and governance challenges facing large technology service delivery organizations. The position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and the kind of leadership skills needed to succeed in a multi-functional, goal-oriented team. The successful candidate will possess the ability to collaborate with, and influence, engineers and leadership across many domains. Experience leading a SW development team is essential to this role. Prior experience working in a security, compliance, IT service management, or cloud governance role is ideal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team of high-performing software and AppSec engineers
Consult with external teams, advising on leading practices for security, privacy, compliance, and governance processes
Collaborate with application teams, security teams, and leadership to ensure the success of our projects and deliverables
