JOB OBJECTIVE: 

The Software Engineer with will collaborate with the client's team to develop information systems and custom applications to address the operational and financial challenges of our clients. 

DUTIES:

• Works to develop software solutions to meet client needs including problem definition, process requirements, proposed solutions, and ultimate solution development.


• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.


• Prepares, tests, and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.


• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures, and identifying enhancements.


• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


• Protects Client and client businesses by keeping information confidential.


• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.


• Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.


• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor's degree in a computer science related field or more than 3 years of related experience


• Proficiencies:




1. Demonstrated experience with development using C#/.NET, ASP.Net MVC, Web API and SQL Server


2. Basic proficiency in either PHP or Ruby and MySQL


3. Strong skillset in front end development including JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS3, HTML5, etc.




• Reporting Services and Integration Services to include solid experience with table design, stored procedures, triggers, maintenance, optimization, indexing, etc. preferred.


• Experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, or managed care a plus


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
