Your tasks:

Would you like to work in an agile team, delivering releases for more than 40 million customers worldwide? A team which guarantees high-level availability and constantly develops the product? As Solution Architect you will work with your knowledge and expertise on the development of our web frontend. As part of our interdisciplinary applications development team your will work on the further development of WEB.DE and GMX which are one of the highest level targeting portals in Germany. You will collaborate very closely with the teams and software architects. Your experience will lead you from first idea to the final release.

• You have a passion for technology. You will act as a mentor for our teams, application architects and you will support other colleagues and architects from other departments.


• You will develop architecture across our products, applications and features


• You are responsible to evaluate new technologies. You will analyse how these technologies enhance our products as well as the added value for our customers.


• You will develop POCs and present them to our colleagues from software development and product management


• You will coordinate the interfaces of backend and frontend. You will also support the work of several different development teams.

Your qualifications:

You love working on web development on the latest technology level with a clear focus on concepts, design and architecture. Using your strong analytical skills it is easy for you to familiarise with new complex tasks very quickly. You enjoy being part of a collegial working environment with flat hierarchies and mutual respect. What we expect from you:

• You have several years of experience in web development, integrating in large it-systems.


• You have excellent knowledge in common computer languages for web applications, e.g. JS/Typescript, PHP, Java.


• You are a good communicator, convincing, motivated and assertive.


• You enjoy motivating people and support them in their development journey.


• Your skills in German and English language (spoken/written) are good (C1).
