Job Purpose:

 Performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities involving knowledge of policies and procedures and their application to new and unusual requirements from our facility partners and internal teams. The focus of the position is on the integration of distributed systems and applications and the transformation and transfer of data between disparate systems. Problems encountered are general to complex in nature.

Essential Duties:

• Design, develop and support software related to data integration and data transformation for use within our organizations information systems.
• Design, develop and support enterprise level data services and APIs used by Securus and partners.
• Responsible for ensuring the technical architecture is followed and the services necessary to meet the changing needs of the organization are implemented and maintained.
• Responsible for working with customers, external vendors, Securus application teams and other infrastructure services groups to plan and execute integration strategies necessary for the integration of information or functions between key application services and systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase performance and quality of data
• Support of Linux or Windows application platforms including the physical platform and the services that support those applications. Technologies include Talend, Java, Mulesoft, Intel SOAE, PHP, Python, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Elastic, SOAP Web services, REST Web services, XML, JSON.
• Document and create visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs.
• Optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure successful and reliable operation.

• Working knowledge of Elastic, Hadoop, Couchbase
• Working knowledge of Mulesoft, Intel SOAE, Salesforce APIs
• Good working knowledge of IDE environments similar to NetBeans, Eclipse
• Good working knowledge of ETL platforms and concepts similar to Talend, Informatica, Pentaho
• Good working knowledge of multi-tier distributed application architecture

  

Minimum Qualifications:

4 year degree or equivalent experience.

4+ years of related work experience integrating systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Linux.

Experience with Web Service (SOAP, REST) architecture and development.

Experience with the following:

ETL/SOA software development.

Operating Systems: RedHat Enterprise Linux, Windows

Languages: Java, PHP, PL/SQL, HTML

Databases: Oracle through 12g, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server

Languages: Python, C/C++, shell scripting, javascript in addition to above

Experience communicating by phone and face-to-face with customers collecting requirements and implementation details, implementing solutions, and providing technical support

Experience investigating, designing and implementing creative solutions to customer needs using available applications.

Physical Requirements:

Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
