We are currently looking for a skilled and analytical PHP Developer to join our Business Intelligence Team. 

Our Business Intelligence Team is providing personalized recommendations & product sorting to our customers based on their historical consuming behaviour. We work with over 1 million real-time API calls per hour and a huge amount of data to provide the best shopping experience to our customers!

Challenges the team will be working on in the next 12 months:

• Creating even more personalized real-time recommendations & sortings


• Deeper integration of our business intelligence product in B2B solutions
  
  
  

What you will do

• Optimize our sorting & recommendation tool based on PHP & Laravel


• Enrich our recommendation API with different types of recommendation


• Use intelligent algorithms and data-driven development to deliver the customer the most personalized recommendation


• Work with Kanban and agile processes, that are adapted to the team’s and project’s needs


• Lots of space for your own ideas and creations, flat hierarchies and very short decision-making process

Who you are

• Very good coding skills in PHP (minimum 3 years experience)


• Solid knowledge in Laravel (alternatively similar PHP frameworks like Symfony or Yii2)


• Extensive experience in handling & querying big amount of data


• Profound background in relational database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL


• Comfortable working with Elasticsearch & Redis


• Analytical way of thinking and approaching


• Very good written and spoken English skills

Nice to have:

• Awareness of ETL processes


• Past experience with Google BigQuery


• Passionate about data warehouse concepting
