Software Developer

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Development
    • Develop software applications to support business workflows.

  • Write quality software code to deliver applications and services which meet standards and deliver business value.

  • Engage the software development lifecycle at all stages and all technology layers.

  • Adhere to established SDLC policies and procedures.

  • Maintain and enhance existing applications through code review, troubleshooting, bug fixes, development of new features.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business units, Project Management Office, Information Technology, Development and Quality Assurance teams to define, document, and implement business requirements

  • Maintain and improve current knowledge on the latest relevant technologies, including programming languages, libraries, third party tools, coding concepts and practices


EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • Expereince
      in Angular, PhP, MSSQL, Javascript, etc.
    • A min
  • imum of 5 years professional software coding experience, including object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks

    • Demonstrated knowledge of modern development languages, frameworks, coding patterns and practices

    • Experience with each development stack layer, including data, server backend, user interface

    • Deep understanding of multiple development languages, ability to rapidly learn and become proficient in new languages

    • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

    • Strong experience with SQL query language, data access methodology, modern database technology and design concepts

      Expereince in Cold Fusion would be a big plus!

    • Experience with software version and change control technologies, such as GIT

    • Experience with Agile development techniques

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

    • Ability to successfully operate as part of a cross functional, collaborative team

    • Experience with MS Office applications such as Word, MS Excel, and Outlook

    • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
