Software Developer - San Diego

PSG are assisting a client in the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industry that deals with some of the largest drug discovery and pharma companies in the world. They are hiring a Software Developer as they are expanding the development team as they rebuild their eCommerce platform. They ideally would like someone with Symfony framework exposure. This company has been rapidly growing with small development team. This would be a great opportunity for a Developer who enjoys working with large data sets as well as someone who focuses on programming. If you enjoy a small but nimble team your thoughts and development work will be listened to, utilized and directly applied, this could be a great opportunity for you! Software Developer Job Duties:

• Debugging, performance profiling and optimization
• Understanding of object-oriented application development techniques
• Design, develop and test software
• Develop, refine and tune integrations between applications
• Analyze and resolve technical and application issues
• Search for ways to improve solutions, systems and processes
• Agile development

Desired Skills & Experience:

Realistically we need someone who has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of hands on development experience. PHP programming with Symphony framework is ideal as well as JavaScript experience. SQL and / or Postgres database experience necessary.  The ideal person would have strong eCommerce experience as well.

Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000k base + bonus
