In this role, you will work closely with a small team of software and system engineers to build and scale functionality and services at BL.INK. We are looking for an ambitious software engineer with a specialization or inclination to focus on front-end development. New features and functionality will serve and support the greatest brands in the world.
An ideal candidate should be a fast learner, an independent thinker, and one that complies with standards and maintains the highest levels of transparency. Working for us in this remote capacity (as does the rest of our team), youll have the opportunity to add new business and technical skills to your repertoire. Responsibilities
- Engage with an array of customers from startups to enterprise organizations representing the most popular brands in the world.
- Collaborate with a team spanning UI/UX, product, engineering, data warehouse, and IT Operations to enhance and evolve an enterprise-level SaaS application hosted across a variety of AWS solutions.
Requirements
Our virtual structure allows us to hire the best talent, but our operating model requires that you live in the greater Austin area as we gather regularly. The ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience, (M.S. Degree a plus)
- 3+ years of relevant software development experience
- Self-motivated and team oriented
- Strong knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
- AJAX Experience
- Bootstrap Experience
- HTML5
- UI/UX Development
- CSS
- Git
Preferred
- PHP
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Good architecture skills
- React.js
- CLI scripts
- SASS (sass-lang.com)
- Clear understanding of databases (MySQL experience a plus)
- AWS Knowledge
- AWS Services Development
- MVC Framework
- RESTful API
- Understanding of DNS, HTTP, SSL, and Version Control
