Company At Pronexis we are concerned with connecting customers to in-home service providers (Painters, pest control operators, plumbers, carpet cleaners, etc.) We have technology tools to help service providers, convert leads to customers, and manage customers for years down the road.

Position We are looking for an lead PHP developer. This developer will be part of a team responsible for supporting a system built using the Symfony framework.

Responsibilities Write “clean” code in Symfony and other LAMP stack tools. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality Control pushing updates to the software. Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle Follow industry best practices Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Prerequisites 3 years experience developing in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Solid knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming Proficient in JavaScript, html, CSS, jQuery (Experience with React a plus.) Experience with API integrations (Google, Facebook, Quickbooks, etc) Experience with versioning software (Git, SVN) Dedicated team player Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Requires high proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills. Most communication involves technical/specific terminology, logical development of arguments or processes and requires clarity of expression Requires high degree of independent judgment and problem solving of complex problems Have a positive, ready-to-learn attitude
