Director of Technology

Cypress is partnering a small, innovative digital agency in Atlanta that is looking for a bright technology leader to join their growing team. What youll be doing:

• Leading a small, growing team of front end and full stack developers in Atlanta
• Estimating and planning for large projects, dividing up and prioritizing work for your developers
• Brainstorming with leadership to design and architect creative technical solutions that include website builds with WordPress, new features/functionality/applications, marketing automation
• Working closely with internal project/account managers and talking to clients regularly as the technical lead to understand their needs and present winning solutions to their problems
• Taking part in new business pitches as needed
• Hands-on coding (full stack), from time to time, when your team is stretched or a difficult piece of the project needs completing
• Helping to recruit, hire, and retain an A+ team of front end and full stack developers
• Working with tools, languages, and platforms like WordPress, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Angular, PHP, Marketo, Silverpop, Salesforce, Less, Saas, WPML, Yoast SEO, Webpack, Gulp, GIT

A little about you:

• Background as a full stack developer with a focus on digital marketing/advertising solutions
• Experience leading/managing developers, helping them to grow and learn new skills
• Highly organized, capable of estimating and planning out for mid to large digital projects
• Strong communicator, experience interacting with prospective and existing clients
• Experience working for digital agencies or consulting firms, including website builds, marketing automation, and web/mobile application development
