Lead Software Engineer

Cypress is partnering a growing technology startup in Atlanta that is expanding their software engineering team and looking for a hands-on team lead with full stack experience and a front end lean.

What youll be getting paid for:

• Writing code and leading a small team of talented full stack software engineers with a growing focus on front end engineering
• Leveraging a technology stack that includes PHP, Golang, MySQL, AWS, and AngularJS
• Leading the charge on new feature development and overall improvement of the platform
• Identifying inefficiencies in their engineering processes, suggesting and leading changes
• Setting goals for your team, leading code reviews, and helping with onboarding/training
• Helping with testing, maintenance, support, and deployment for your teams code
• Providing feedback to your team to improve their effectiveness in an Agile/Scrum shop
• Leading the evaluation and implementation of new technology, tools, frameworks, languages

A little about you and your background in software:

• Youve been writing code and building enterprise web applications for 5+ years
• You have a lot of experience with modern JavaScript including Angular, React, or Vue
• You have back end experience with an open-source language like PHP, Python, Scala, Java, Go, or Ruby
• You have experience leading a team of engineers, helping them grow and reach their goals
• You have experience with modern databases, HTML/CSS, MVC frameworks, cloud, Agile/Scrum
• It would be great if you also had experience with high-availability systems, healthcare technology, or web/mobile payment technology/payment systems
