The Company
Founded in 2015, Visitor Chat has taken the UK Automotive Dealership & Estate Agency market by storm, with their highly bespoke and dynamic Live Chat services.
The Team
Visitor Chat currently outsource their DevOps work to some very talented specialists that have helped them get to where they are now. However, the time has come to make more use of their beautiful new Google-esque offices and kick off their in-house DevOps team. You would be the first, but you certainly would not be the last!
If you have always wanted to build yourself an army of DevOps Engineers/Gurus/Ninjas/Evangelists, then this could be your opportunity! They have some big plans to grow the team and you would be heavily influential in this process, because at the end of the day, you're the experts! The plan for this role is to eventually lead you to taking on the role of CTO.

The Skills
Primary:
- DevOps Skills (AWS Services, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker)
- MongoDB experience (aggregation framework, optimization)
Secondary:
- JavaScript + React
- PHP + Framework (Laravel5)
- Relational database experience (Postgres)
The Work
- Code repositories management
- Code review before merging code to master branch on all repos
- Merging code to master branch
- Support CI process, deploy code to production
- Support production infrastructure on AWS
- Instances monitoring. Prevention of failures and the rectification of cause.
- Bugs identification, providing detailed information to colleagues
