Role: Under general supervision, the Web Applications Developer will be responsible for development and maintenance of client/prospect facing applications, marketing automation tools, and client websites. This includes developing new concepts, administration, customization, client support for websites, reporting on available data, email development and marketing automation, and data import/export. This individual will understand, optimize and expand the current processes, set guidelines for layout, and apply best practices to ensure success.

Insurance or Securities background is highly suggested.

Essential Functions - Email:

  • Colla

      borate and work with our Marketing Team to execute communications

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, reporting back to superiors

  • Ensure consistent customer experience and improve UI/UX of all client/prospect applications

  • Design and manage multiple client websites in a templated and/or customized environment

  • Convert email designs into HTML, while managing deployment schedules and work-flows

  • Proven ability to create table and responsive email designs

  • Develop a testing strategy to optimize the performance of all channels

  • Create web accessible calculators using various programming languages

  • Manage hosting environments for Asset and client facing elements

  • Use PHP to administer our client portal

  • Build and manage a new client portal and Asset website

  • Qualifications/Requirements

    The following qualifications/requirements are necessary for an individual to successfully fill this position:

    • Possess expert knowledge of HTML, DHTML and CSS

    • Advanced knowledge using Javascript and/or PHP programming language

    • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator for sizing and editing images for use on the website

    • Demonstrates a clear understanding of various file formats and appropriate uses

    • Proven ability to create table and responsive email designs

    • Strong time management and multitasking skills a must

    • Solid understanding of web development tools as well as Google Analytics

    • Graphic design experience

    • Bachelors Degree in some Technical field or 4+ years working in a similar role

    • Ability to write HTML/CSS

    • Knowledge of SEO best practices

    • Familiar with video on web practices

    • Experience in Email Marketing Campaigns & Social Media Advertising

    • Creating and monitoring A/B tests for best performance

    • Self Motivator who takes initiative and has a level of ownership

      Software proficiency:

    • Adobe Creative Suite CC, Microsoft Suite, Wordpress, Workamajig, Microsoft Dynamics, Click Dimensions.
