Were looking for a whip-smart software developer to join our growing team as we scale our health and wellness benefits solution. 

 

In this role, youll build products that change the way people take charge of their health.

Reporting to our CTO, youll have the opportunity to build and deliver various projects for the IncentFit platform, focusing on front-end and back-end development.

Our tech stack is Angular/PHP built on AWS. Our platform is fully built out, with an MVC pattern and database layer encapsulation. Our UX is highly modular with significant code reuse between our Ionic+Cordova mobile apps and Angular web front-end. As we continue to move to a scalable n-tier architecture, this will provide you with a platform to easily and rapidly build upon what is already in place from day one.

• You have the skill to take on projects from conception to rollout through iteration.

• Youve got the curiosity and drive to contribute at a small, hungry company and want to be a part of making growth happen.

• Youre serious about work, but not too serious to enjoy yourself.




You will:

• Build and scale software products to better serve our clients

• Collaborate within your team, as well as across other departments (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) to meet business needs and solve interesting technical challenges

• Participate in daily stand up and weekly retrospective meetings

• Assist with various other dev projects as needed




Must Haves:

• 4+ years of full stack software development experience

• Advanced knowledge of and experience with one or more  JavaScript frameworks, and object oriented programming languages

• Excellent communication skills, whether talking tech or connecting across departments

• Ability to take strong ownership of your work and tasks

• A driven, positive attitude




Bonus points:

• Advanced knowledge and background in AngularJS

• Experience with PHP 7

• Mobile development experience (iOS and Android)

• Experience with Cordova or Ionic

• Experience with Bootstrap-based UX development

• Familiarity with MySQL, the MVC pattern

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure

• Knowledge of payment and/or healthtech APIs such as Stripe, Dwolla, HealthKit, Samsung or Validic

• An interest in health and wellness and/or gamification is a plus
