Job Description

You will help develop and build a Data Center Information Monitoring and Reporting System. Roles and technologies that you may play and work on during this internship

• Being a great problem solver and creative open source tools user
• Picking up new skills by doing it quickly through informal learning
• Self-motivated and be able to work with multiple site teams
• Doing Web/Cloud design and other projects with the focus on front end work

Requirement

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Science of Engineering of any appropriate discipline from a recognized institution
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• A strong team player who is detailed oriented, independent and has good interpersonal skills
  
• Experience in building web/cloud services with understanding of any web application development frameworks
  
• Web/Cloud Programming experience in HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, Python, MySQL and/or NoSQL, JSON and etc
  

Preferred Skills (one or more of the below would be excellent but not essential) 

• Server/System/VMs administration
  
• Some experience with open sources software development
• Some knowledge and experience with VMWARE APIs and SDK
• Some knowledge and experience with REST API and OPENSTACK
• Some knowledge and experience with workload manager and scheduler like HTCONDOR/SLURM/PBS/GRAM/MOAB/TORQUE/UnivaGE and IBM LSF
• Some knowledge and experience using AWS, GCP or Azure
• Understanding of operating systems concepts, data structures, the x86-64 architecture, and virtualization
• Operational programs, such as GIT/GitHub, SPLUNK, ELK, Syslog or ANSIBLE
