Job Description:
Were looking for a front-end web developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the creative director and bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

• Develop websites in Joomla and WordPress from designs
• Update and maintain three Joomla sites (1.5, 2.5 and 3.4) as well as public and intranet WordPress sites
• Troubleshoot issues across all browsers
• Develop responsive HTML email templates
• Regular sending of e-blasts with new and existing templates

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient understanding of web markup, including hand coding HTML5, CSS3

Proficient understanding of pre-processing platforms, such as SASS/SCSS and LESS

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Proficient understanding of Joomla, WordPress, and responsive development

Proficient understanding of HTML email development

Good understanding of Zurb Foundation and Twitter Bootstrap front-end frameworks

Good understanding of Adobe CC and Mac OSX

Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image

Familiarity with Linux (CentOS and Ubuntu) server management

Familiarity with SEO/SEM and social media

Familiarity with PHP, particularly with Zend framework

Familiarity with Git/GitHub

Familiarity with CampaignMonitor and Pardot

Education: Bachelor's Degree
