Our technology team is looking for a talented and passionate software engineer to join our platform development team. Youll need a strong background in LAMP application development, and must be comfortable working in a team environment at a dynamic and fast-paced company.

• Work with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability
• Adhere to development goals and principles
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and support product releases
• Document your work to allow for easy hand-off to other teams
• Lead product initiatives, recommend improvements, mentor, and guide junior team members
• Identify project risks and work effectively to mitigate them
• Develop industry and product technical expertise
• Find and help fix stability/scalability issues in a time-critical environment
• Support product releases and be available to resolve issues
• Develop tests and perform testing of your software
  
  

• 5+ years of applicable professional software development experience
• Work well in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytic abilities
• Strong object-oriented application development experience using PHP
• Solid understanding of common design patterns
• Prior experience developing enterprise web applications using Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP
• Experience using PHP MVC frameworks (ZF, Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
• Experience with microservices web application architecture
• Experience leveraging test automation a big plus
• Experience in agile development methodologies preferred
