We have an exciting opportunity with our client in Center City for a Senior PHP Developer! Since 1992, our client has been changing lives through physical activity. They offer innovative and engaging wellness technology solutions that deliver personal, cultural, and financial results. Due to growth, they are looking to bring on a Senior PHP Developer to assist in the evaluation and audit of their code base. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience modernizing technology platforms and is proficient across the entire LAMP stack.

Required Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field required
• Applied knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel/Symphony)
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL doctrine
• Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, AJAX, Bootstrap
• Working knowledge of web applications, web API and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience with version control like Github or Bitbucket
  Preferred Skills:
• Familiarly with command line (linux)
• Knowledge of docker
• Unit testing with TDD (test driven development) & BTD (behavior driven development)
• Experience hosting applications on AWS web server
• Familiar with javascript frameworks, preferably viewJS
