Job Description

We are hiring an articulate and driven Software Engineer who has extensive experience working in PHP and the Symfony, Laravel, or Zend frameworks as a full-time employee in Los Angeles, California.

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of hardworking developers and engineers to build and improve upon a variety of business applications and solutions. You will use your knowledge and expertise in application development to define process, direction, and team culture in a dynamic environment to deploy with confidence. You will also help with code quality through writing unit tests, automation, performing peer code reviews and work with the team to debug system issues, ensure successful deliveries, and make regular improvements through retros, capturing task details, and updating task status.

In this Software Engineer role, you will be expected to define non-functional requirements such as quality, security, extensibility, and usability while collaborating with the team to develop new features and improve existing processes and applications. You will also need to write well-designed, appropriately documented, testable, efficient code.

Software Engineer Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor or above in Computer Science preferred, in field acceptable
• 10+ years of software development experience with knowledge of PHP and Symfony, Laravel, or Zend
• Proficiency in programming skills with HTML5, CSS, Javascript, XML, and MySQL
• Experience with relational databases and schema design
• Earned the respect and trust of other specialists as a strong technical leader and mentor
• Experience working in dynamic environments

Software Engineer Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: 100-125k
