WorkWave is looking for a software engineer to work on our core SaaS web-based application. We’re looking for smart, hard-working people who see problems as challenges and strive to meet them. People with a high degree of ownership who can bring solutions to the table and consider the entire application when working on one small part. Successful candidates will play a key role supporting the technical design, development, and troubleshooting of a market-leading product for the field service industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop new features according to requirements on our flagship product


• Debug and resolve moderate to complex problems


• Interpret business specifications and perform analysis/design functions


• Independently perform problem determination and resolution


• Coordinate testing and debugging for programming changes among support staff and Quality Assurance


• Prepare system documentation as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• C#


• JavaScript


• MS-SQL Server


• ASP or PHP


• JQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Are able to work independently and prioritize work as needed


• Strong Team building skills – This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work across departments and with other teams


• Availability to work on-call rotation

 WHAT WOULD ALSO BE AWESOME:

• 3+ years of experience in Agile SW development projects


• Preferred knowledge of distributed version control systems (Git is a plus)


• Experience in a SaaS development environment


• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a related field is preferred
