• Identify and investigate cyber actors with the interest and capability to target this company, its employees, vendors, and affiliates
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of detection, deterrence, and mitigation projects
• Track high priority threats and identify, develop and implement countermeasures on both our corporate network and our industrial systems
• Lead technical investigations from start-to-finish, to include effectively communicating actionable results to different audience types
• Investigate, mitigate, and forecast emerging threat trends

• BA/BS in computer science, technology, engineering or security-related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional security experience, or three (3) years with Master's degree
• Experience investigating, analyzing and acting on online threat actors
• Experience conducting data analysis
• Experience qualifying and communicating cyber threat assessments
• Proven track record of managing and executing on short-term and long-term projects
• Experience prioritizing and executing with minimal direction or oversight
• Experience working across the cyber security community
• Ability to work with a team spanning multiple locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence and critical infrastructure protection, especially in the energy sector
• Creating signatures as countermeasures
• Basic knowledge of Python, PHP, Perl, or a similar scripting language
• Familiarity with nation state, sophisticated criminal, or supply chain threats
• Demonstrated passion for understanding the intersection of global cyber security risks, and how they might apply to this company
• SANS GCTI, GNFA, GCFA, GPEN certification(s) or similar
