Job Description

BlueToad is looking for a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst and Tester who wants to do what it takes to excel in his/her software career. This position demands superior communication skills, a fast-learner of how things work, and the passion to deliver products quickly while maintaining quality. The SQA Analyst and Tester is responsible for the effective execution of the quality assurance processes. He or she works closely with the Development Team Leader and the IT Project Manager to understand the system(s) under test. Daily tasks may include:

• Execute against test scenarios and procedures to validate the requirements and functionality of new software products.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate any defects discovered during testing.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports for release management.
• Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Research and recommend effective testing approaches.

Required:

• Minimum of 3-years of professional QA work experience. 
• Basic knowledge of programming languages and software development tools.
• Unfailing attention to detail and the ability to work systematically and document effectively are required for all day-to-day tasks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also important, as much of the work is done on a team.

Preferred:

• Basic competency in JavaScript and/or PHP and knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000

This position is based in our Orlando, Florida offices. Working in our offices on site is required.
