About this Internship

Cyxtera is looking for a highly motivated undergraduate or masters student to join the company for an internship during the summer of 2019. As a PHP Intern, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various Cyxtera team members in the areas of product management, and IT.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy PHP plug-ins on a Wikipedia-style collaborative website for internal-use by Cyxtera employees.
• Work alongside experienced IT professionals, managing a Microsoft Azure Active Directory systems integration project.
• Participate in company-wide summer hackathon competition.

Minimum Qualifications

• Located in the Miami / Broward / South Florida area
• 3 or more years undergraduate or currently enrolled in a Masters program in Computer Science or a related field of study
• Minimum cumulative 3.1 GPA or higher
• Functional experience with PHP
• Able to work 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience or work history in a related role.
