An opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader to join a rapidly growing, venture backed, Healthcare IT startup. Thier easy to use SaaS solution is already being used in major hospital networks with more joining daily. This is a perfect role for a individual that can architect a solution and lead a small team to make that solution a reality. 

We are looking for a leader that can help strategize, architect, design and drive implementation of new and existing applications, features and data pipeline that can scale rapidly and reliably. The VP of engineering will also help to define the companys data security policy and infrastructure.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, JSON, HTML
• php and Data Warehouse/Management experience required
• JQuery, and XML experience preferred.
• Object-oriented design (OOD) experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver software on time while meeting the stringent quality goals required for a health care product
  

• Ability to handle all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, including development and testing based on business requirements.  
• Web application architecture, implementation and deployment
• Development of technical documentation to accompany software applications

Skills and Qualifications to increase value, but not required:

• Healthcare IT experience a plus not required
• Linux/ Apache system administration
• Web application security
• Mobile application development
• Prior start up experience and experience achieving company product roadmap and growth strategies
