Requirements:

• Experience designing for performance (caching, message queues, query tuning)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Solid understanding of building web UIs with HTML / CSS / JavaScript (not just jQuery)
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Ability to work in a role that is 75% development, 25% architecture
• Some or all of the following experience: C, C++, Python, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, Assembly (or relevant skills with the ability to ramp up quickly)
• Strong technological mindset
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Ability to work in a pragmatic environment
• Multiple flavors of database experience (SQL, NoSQL, key/value)
• Experience working with Elasticsearch
