Full Stack WordPress Developer

Cypress is partnering a small, innovative digital agency in Atlanta that is looking for a talented mid-level WordPress developer to join their development team. Youll be joining a talented team of developers who are responsible for a wide range of technical projects well-known clients in Atlanta and across the country.

The agency is preparing for hyper-growth, so there is a good chance that this role will grow into a leadership position in the next year or so, heading up their CRM development team.

What youll be doing:

·         60 70% of your time -> creating custom WordPress themes and plug-ins with PHP + Gutenberg

·         30 40% of your time -> front end engineering with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Angular

·         New website builds and redesigns, coding front end components/functionality for web applications, integrations with marketing automation platforms

·         Working closely with project managers, account managers, designers, and technical leadership to better understand client needs and deliver high-quality solutions

·         Participating in code reviews, design discussions for new projects and clients

A little about you:

·         2+ years of experience with custom WordPress development

·         Experience creating custom WordPress themes and plug-ins with PHP

·         JavaScript, HTML, CSS skills, experience with modern frameworks like React and Angular

·         Experience with modern tools like Less, Sass, GIT, Gulp, Webpack, npm

·         Experience working with Gutenberg professional or on your own time

·         Open to digital agency, startup, or in-house experience

·         Experience working in fast-paced environments

·         Experience working with designers in a UX driven culture

·         Mobile, AR/VR, or Unity 3D development experience would be a bonus for them
