Marketing for Change is seeking a back-end web developer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP backend development focused in Laravel, with an interest in growing their skills and leadership abilities alongside a highly collaborative team.

We are a full-service marketing agency committed to making what's good fun, easy and popular. In other words, we only work for the good guys/gals doing their good-guy work. We have 30 full-time employees in four cities, so everyone wears a lot of hats. Expect on any given day to be working with designers, unpacking research, brainstorming a campaign, or collaborating directly with a client.

Our digital team works in an open source environment on the LAMP stack. We are always inventing new features and building complex products, so you must be willing to learn new technologies as needed (and know when to push back).

The ideal candidate will have experience in: Object oriented programming, Laravel, MySql, Communicating with a variety of APIs, Docker, Vue.js, SASS, Linux Administration, Unit Testing

We are also focused on potential, so we are looking for self-starters with a desire to grow into a lead development role.

And one other job requirement from which no one is exempt: Each employee must be nice. Weird, we know. We’re like that.

Nice to Have: Experience with Atlassian tools( Jira, BitBucket, HipChat), DevOps experience, Experience integrating AI
