If you said yes, and you have some Rockstar developer talent, then you should read the rest of this job posting. SeaDream is a luxury travel company specializing in providing our travelers unprecedented levels of service and experience. For 30 years, our founder has been innovating the luxury cruise industry. He is in the process of doing that again, and we need to bring in top-level developers to help drive our technology needs to the same level of innovation. Thats what we are doing, here is what we need from our candidates to ensure that we continue to deliver the SeaDream experience. First and foremost, we need someone who is a collaborative player who enjoys working around the rest of the team. If youre the put on your headphones and pretend everyone around you doesnt exist type of developer, this probably isnt the place for you. We have an energetic group of people who enjoy working at SeaDream. Sure, once in a while, some music is great while you code some magic, but we want people who love the camaraderie of a great team. Second, we need someone who lives and breathes web development. We want you to be excited about coming into work every day and creating a web environment that matches the exceptional nature of our product. At first, this job will be more about enhancing the current environment. But, prove your abilities, and youll soon be called on to create the future experience for SeaDream visitors. We want someone who is passionate about travel. If youve never left the country, this job probably isnt going to be a good fit. If this sounds like a dream job, youre right! Here are a few non-negotiable items. Bachelors degree or technical certification, or equivalent work experience. 4+ year of work experience in a similar positionStrong experience with:PHP and PHP frameworks (Laravel)WordPressMySQLJavaScript (Vue.js, React.js)Linux, AWSGit/GitHubHTML/CSS (Bootstrap, Bulma, Foundation frameworks) Proficiency with APIs. There are some other items we would like to have, but we can talk more about those during the interview. Must be able to legally work in the USLocal to the Miami vicinity no relocation, or out of area candidatesMust speak, read, and write English at a native proficiency The travel industry is a busy one and so we may need you to periodically work weekends, and even some holidays. If youre interested, wed love to hear from you.
