We are looking for a (Mid Level) Software Engineer (WordPress, PHP, Javascript) (Internal Systems) (f/m/d) to join our team to support the development of our corporate websites. What’s on the menu?
Support our users with requests on existing WordPress websites
Development of new WordPress based websites, external and internal facing
Maintenance of headless WordPress websites, using frontend JavaScript frameworks
Support with API integrations
Document and share knowledge across all brands/teams via our centralized portal and in-person consultations.
Experiment with new technologies like Progressive Web Apps, Accelerated Mobile Pages, etc. to evaluate which business cases could benefit from development in new areas.
Your Heroic skills - (Must Haves):
Proven experience with custom WordPress development (local dev, git versioning, managed hosting), with emphasis on multi sites
Strong focus on Security and Site Performance
Experience with Single Sign-on (SSO) integrations
Working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript frameworks (vue.js + grid some or react.js + gatsby)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A well-structured way of working and the ability to meet deadlines
You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or 3+ years overall professional web development experience
Fluent in English
Nice to have:
Knowledge of MySQL, comfortable using PHPMyAdmin
Modern Cascading Style Sheets language (CSS) and its frameworks (tailwind preferably)
