We are looking for an extraordinary leader and engineer who will lead the engineering effort of this disruptive startup. While also being hands on in maintaining current and new products.
Youre the driving force for the engineering team, being the crucial interface between business, product and design. You dive deep into technical architecture, manage stakeholders, communicate towards peers and leadership and lead the engineering activities for the company. At the same time, you still have a passion for coding and a hands-on attitude which helps you to guide and support other engineers to bring highest value to the stakeholders (consumers and teams within), with experience in distributed systems and scalable architecture and a great understanding of Full-Stack technologies.
Building great software at web scale requires a multidisciplinary approach to engineering. It is far more important to be able to reason intelligently about complex problems, and apply experience to new domains than it is to know specifics about the latest technology buzzword. Youre not expected to be an expert in all languages, but you should be able to write code in several core development languages, have worked with the important frameworks and tools in a variety of platforms, and be willing to use your knowledge and experience in new domains.
Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $150,000Cash/Equity Split
As The Chief Technology Officer You Will Together with the founders, you will shape the companys executive team and help drive its strategyBuild a technical product that includes AI, IoT, Mobile, Web, and ML engineering.Define, articulate, and execute engineering strategy from development, to production and through the PDLC.Lead a team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers.Define technical requirements and systems architecture with clarity on feasibility, time, cost, and impactBuild the systems test, trials, and benchmark commercial launch, and the bounds of sucess.Constantly evaluate technological advancements and innovative solutions to drive continuous product improvementImplement best practice coding methodologies and toolsDesign and implement testing frameworksGain and share insights with other leadership team members to continue improving the product and the businessTake ownership over existing MVP features/MVP production systems to grow and scale
