The primary responsibility of the Database and Reporting Analyst is to manage company-wide databases and systems, serve all data needs and provide user support to recurring and ad hoc reporting requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES Manages and maintains databases throughout the company Designs and evaluates efficient backup recovery processes for various databases Gathers and organizes pertinent information in a logical and functional manner Consults with management to determine what data needs to be extracted and finds the best way to organize and store this information Queries data from multiple systems to provide internal reporting Coordinates with third-party software vendors and consultants Works with third-party IT contractor to solve IT-related issues as they arise
QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED SKILLS Familiarity with the following languages & technologies: o PHP programming (preferred language) o Java Script o MySQL o SugarCRM o Python o SQL Server/MSSQL o Access o VBA Up-to-date on the latest practices and trends in database creation Knowledge in selection of business intelligence solutions Experience in creating database queries from disparate systems Thrives on turning large data sets into actionable insights Solid communication skills with ability to translate complex ideas Proficiency in oral, written and interpersonal communication Customer service oriented and open to learning new skills Self-Starter and quickly adapts to new tasks Reliable and can work independently Detail oriented with willingness to roll-up sleeves Enjoys themselves while at work, and doesnt take themselves too seriously Oil & Gas experience is a plus, but not required Visit us at www.royaltyclearinghouse
