 At WorkBoard, we’re creating an entirely new solution category with our Strategy & Results Platform to engage everyone from the CEO to the receptionist in understanding, aligning and achieving their organization’s strategy faster. As a Full Stack Developer you will be at the forefront of our technology; responsible, influential and deeply embedded in our solution and its future. You will feel supported, engaged, intellectually challenged and stimulated every step of the way. 



THE OPPORTUNITY


As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be a critical member of our team of engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our platform. You'll work closely with our CTO and our Director of Engineering, AI, and Data Science providing leadership, guidance as well as top notch programming for scale and success.

COMING IN 


Bring 5-8 years of experience in software engineering as a Full Stack Developer, a builder mindset, and a technical degree. You’ll be working alongside as well as collaborating with our excellent and skilled team, designing and deploying front-end web and back-end architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working with graphic designers for web design features, among other duties. You will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.



YOUR SKILLSET


 Problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.


Focus on quality and ensuring the responsiveness of applications.


A professional and personal need for code integrity and organization.


Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.


Understanding and implementation of security and data protection strategies.


Experienced with back-end programming languages (PHP, node.js and Python).


Experience using front-end technologies; Javascript (React+redux, Angular and JQuery), HTML, CSS, etc.


Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.


Understanding and strong interest in DevOps.


Proficient and demonstrable experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc.


Understanding of System administration such as Virtualization, Networking, Cloud environment and services (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)


Experience in designing and developing APIs.


A desire to stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.


A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.





WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:



Complete WorkBoard’s new-hire training week, and learn what it means to build an elegant Strategy & Results platform.


Ramp up on WorkBoard’s architecture, engineering stack and attend engineering sessions designed and presented by peers.


Own, plan and implement your first application specific project/feature.


Work with you manager to define your next periods objectives.



WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:



Have a deep understanding of the services that WorkBoard is comprised of and how they interact with one another.


Regularly develop and deploy new and improved features.


Seek, explore and create solutions as well as present them to the team.


Assist the data science team in development and deploying supporting projects.





WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:



Confidently manage and work within WorkBoard’s platform and codebase.


Contribute suggestions to our roadmap for improvements.


Continue to optimize for increasing scale and a larger global customer base.





WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:



Maintain knowledge of WorkBoard’s data, systems, operational best practices and teach them to new members of the team.


Learn advanced skills with specific frameworks, databases and languages.


Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze application performance and accuracy.


Contribute to effort to add multiple points of presence to improve WorkBoard’s offerings globally.
