Wordpress Front-End DeveloperA multi-national financial technology organization is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join its team in Miami.
Responsibilities:Assist in the development of websites from initial concepts, information architecture, and designs to finished productCode WordPress pages, sites, and themes (including designs based on Photoshop layouts)Manage the hosting environments and updating of multiple client websites globallyCreate and update re-usable code libraries to streamline WordPress development cycleOptimize code for maximum speed and scalabilityCollaborate with marketing teammates, management, designers, developers and other project stakeholders inside and outside of the organization in several countries.
Requirements:Bilingual (English/Spanish)Extensive knowledge/experience with the WordPress CMSExperience building custom WordPress themes, pages, sites, and pluginsKnowledge of PHP, MySQL, CSS, CSS3 HTML, HTML 5Strong expertise in Sass, JavaScriptBasic understanding of accessibility standards and website best practicesAbility to work both independently and with other team membersAbility to write well documented codeAbility to work on multiple projects at onceExhibit exceptional relationship management skills, interpersonal skills, and strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong UI/UX skills with extensive knowledge in mobile design and best practicesProject management skills.Willing and eager to learn.
Additional Skills Appreciated:Experience with Google Analytics & Google Tag ManagerBasic SEO skillsExperience or familiarity with marketing automation platformsExperience in working within an Agile/Scrum development processExperience with email marketing configurationFamiliarity with APIs and database architectureCRM configuration skillsFamiliarity with Object Oriented ProgrammingExperience with React and jQueryFamiliarity with R or Python; the ability to modify sales reports built in R or python.
