Job Description

We are always trying to push our platform to the next iteration and you will be part of that daily routine. You will be working with the team on our PHP7 powered webshop while keeping the implementation effort in line with the expected outcome. Implementing new features, improving the website responsiveness and keeping the server load to a low is part of what you will do. While having full transparency on all data coming from New Relic, Nagios, Google Analytics, Graylog, Sentry, A/B-Tests and others to take the right decisions. Nothing will stop you from consuming our service REST APIs to build features that our customers will love, instead we even encourage you to roll up your sleeves to improve the current APIs and share your knowledge to the team. Hunting mythical creatures called "bugs" in our high traffic application will give you a certain satisfaction and distraction from the routine.

Qualifications

Love hunting, imagining, building and improving? Cool! We expect that you have at least three years of pragmatic experience working with a high traffic website built using symfony3 or higher. You know the in and outs of PHP7, are open to new technologies that are not part of your current repertoire and especially not scared of Java ;) Testing your code and creating applications that are on par with current architectural standards, is common sense to you. The server console is something that does not scare you away as you are ambitious to improve the systems powering your code. You make pragmatic decisions and enjoy the responsibility for what you do.
