This is a full-time salaried position. The job needs to be on site. No independent contractors, please.
Job Description:As a web developer, you will be implementing technical solutions to optimize our eCommerce web sites to achieve enhanced customer experience and conversion.
Specific responsibilities include: Develop and improve web site functionalities to facilitate online shopping experience through custom programming and installing third-party API solutions.For example, we just developed a reward program that would integrate and value customers experience of shopping, review writing, and referral together. Work closely with internal teams (e. g., graphic designer, writer) to ensure the development of sites and applications meet business needs and standards. Maintain the current web sites for smooth functionalities. Know and be able to work with networks, Linux servers etc.
Qualifications: 5 years+ experience in web site development using HTML, CSS, Javascript (Vanilla, jQuery, Vue.JS), JSON and Ajax. Experience with MySQL with PHP (PHP frameworks is a plus) Familiarity with responsive design. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree. Be able to learn new programming/scripting languages. Version control (Git etc.)
