SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT DALLAS, TX 12 MONTHS   Project Description: Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible for mainly two parts: Helping teams who are onboarding the cloud for the first time. Helping them understand how AWS works, how to set-up security, networking and how to use cloud formation and automation Working with Enterprise Cloud teams to help figure out which services we have to use and work side by side with security Day to day activity: Sitting down with the people and discuss the design of cloud and cloud watch. 60% cloud design and 30% deployment and rest is all about communication across the teams Sales pitch for this role: This is a job for somebody who is interested in design and who wants to stay in technology (AWS and all the things happening around it). If you want to be involved in technology day-in and day-out then this is the job for you.   Required Skills: AWSCloud Formation, CloudWatch, CloudFront SQS Kubernetes Some Java and some Python experience to make sure they can write some code CI/CD, Jenkins and GIT experience would be good Need people from development and engineering background and not from a functional background Somebody who can come in and walk the talk AWS Really need to have good hold on AWS and Cloud formation Comfortable building AWS service as cloud Knows how to design a system for scalability and reliability and knows cost optimization Confident about the technology Good communication skills is a must Being able to explain why something that you are proposing is the best compared to other options   Qualifications & Requirements: Expertise in Amadeus Altea product or Sabres SabreSonic Res is preferred Experience Architecting large-scale integration efforts     Education: B.S. /M.S. in computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.   Experience: Generally has more than 10 years work experience in Business, engineering and/or Information Technology environment. Expert level experience in a single technology area or broad system-level experience across multiple computing platform and technologies.   Required Skills: Five to eight years of work experience in multiple technology disciplines; required. Three to five years of engineering and/or business work experience; required. Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills (ability to address large and small audiences). Ability to articulate (verbally / visually) ideas, approach, concepts, options, risk, impact, and recommendations to technical, non-technical, and Leadership audiences. [facilitate meetings with medium to large audience of peers] Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Must possess outstanding business acumen, and a sound understanding of industry rules / standards. Must be highly organized, motivated, and capable of working with minimum supervision. Ability to mentor / coach Tech Leads, Senior Developers, and Peers in a domain or technical area. Ability to provide expert technical and Thought Leadership in a domain area / app suite. Outstanding leadership skills including partnering, consensus building, influencing. Advanced knowledge of project management methodology and principles. Outstanding understanding of business process and business rules for a Portfolio. Expert knowledge of computer or network systems hardware, and software theory, emerging practices / concepts, and technology relevant to organizational / portfolio vision. Ability to work in a fast-paced, Team-based, Customer-service-oriented environment.
