As a Senior Product Manager working on the ThinkIQ platform, you will be directly responsible for defining and building the next generation of manufacturing traceability software. You will span the entire product lifecycle by creating the roadmap and use case stories to create and launch innovative hardware/software products to improve connectivity for the ThinkIQ platform. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and meticulousness. 
 
You will help build the product strategy and vision and you will develop and look after product roadmaps and features based on that strategy and vision. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to bring features and products to market and develop and grow business opportunities for ThinkIQ. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, be able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, show perseverance and steadfastness, love thinking about innovative functionality and technologies, and be adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple solutions, functionality and applications that customers love.


The role reports to ThinkIQ’s Chief Product Manager in Orange County, CA 
 
Responsibilities 



  • Research, analyze, and document market needs.



  • Lead the definition, design and construction of products that delight consumers and compel them to engage despite an abundance of alternatives and distractions

  • Lead the development of the product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis

  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

  • Drive dialog with engineering teams and project delivery teams to deliver well thought out and easy to implement solutions and services 

  • Work with development to find to correct balance of technologies to support and accelerate meeting the requirements.



  • Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on product strategy and vision

  • Work with the engineering team to develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application

  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals 


RequiredQualifications 



  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/science related field

  • Experience withcreating software that is used in manufacturing businesses and their supply chains

  • 8+ years of experience with product management or technical leadership in a complex, high growth, enterprise software product environment

  • Experience working in an agile product creation environment.

  • Experience with cloud-based software (SaaS) and data and analytic centric technologies



  • Experience leading cross-functional and cross-company teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage tradeoffs

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired



  • Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules

  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

  • Strong verbal and written communication skillswith demonstrated experience working with all levels of innovative start-up environment

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions
