We are looking for creative and talented PHP and JavaScript specialists who are great team players. German is a bonus, but not a necessity. 


As a Senior Software Engineer specialising in PHP you will be working on our large service oriented middleware component and dealing with docker, AWS, Symfony, REST API's, tests and microservices on a daily basis.


If JavaScript is your speciality, then you will be working on our many Angular6+ applications as well as multiple microservices performing a variety of functions. You will deal with TypeScript, NodeJS, Angular6, rxJS and Jasmine on a daily basis.


Your professional qualification



  • A great working attitude, willing and eager to learn and develop yourself and those around you

  • Mastery of own tool set (operating system, IDE, debugging, virtualisation, packet managers, etc.)

  • Experienced in producing quality software; code reviews, testing & test driven development, refactoring

  • Experienced in utilizing existing frameworks

  • Familiarity with algorithms, design patterns and their implementations

  • Using GIT on a daily basis

  • Clear and direct communicator

  • Able to clearly express and discuss technical concepts

  • Able to write technical documentation


 Bonus 



  • A degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering

  • Several years of experience in a technology focussed environment

  • Familiarity/Experience with the SCRUM process

  • Solid experience with Elasticsearch, Linux, AWS Platform, Databases, Other languages,etc

  • Design/UX skills

  • Any other knowledge and skills that will help us build the best health insurance in the world!
