Vivial is a company dedicated to helping small and medium sized businesses increase and manage their online presence by:

·        Producing and publishing content online for our customers

·        Growing and maintaining online directory listings for our customers

·        Helping customers develop, grow, and engage with their social networks

This engineering position will be responsible for providing support and enhancements in a full stack PHP / Drupal / MySQL / MongoDB environment with full life cycle engineering responsibilities. You will work directly with the architectural staff to design and develop application improvements and features and prepare the system for our forthcoming redesign.

A Day in the Life:

·        Interact with the development & product team to understand different areas of the system

·        Investigate bugs and enhancements

·        Provide feedback around the solution or options to solve the problem

·        Implement the solution and push changes into the appropriate environment for testing

·        Monitor testing efforts and delivery to production

Essential Requirements:

·        Proficiency with PHP

·        Proficiency with relational databases (like MySQL or PostgreSQL)

·        Proficiency with MongoDB

·        Proficiency with Web Application Development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)

·        Proficiency at digging in and troubleshooting problems

·        Competence with Git for version control

·        Comfortable in Linux and/or Mac environments

Additional Desirable Experience:

·        Proficiency with Drupal

·        Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies

·        Familiarity with Python

·        Familiarity with NodeJS and full stack JavaScript environments

·        Familiarity with Client-side JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, and RactiveJS.
