We use an analytical approach and technology to power our growth engine, and are looking for an experienced senior full-stack engineer to join and help build and improve our web properties. You’ll work with our team of engineers to build and maintain features that create rich and compelling experiences for our customers, and expand the platform that drives our business operations.

Responsibilities:

Write and maintain code primarily in PHP and JavaScript (along with other languages as needed) Design / architect / build new applications, features, and tools Help improve system performance and scalability Help track down and fix system bugs Help mentor junior developers Qualifications: 5+ years experience developing web applications 3+ years of PHP experience with an MVC framework Experience with frontend Javascript libraries/frameworks (jQuery, React, Angular) Experience building and consuming APIs and web services Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL containing large amounts of data Strong grasp of technologies across the stack from the browser to the server Strong understanding of the browser DOM Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Bonus Qualifications:

Experience with Node.js Experience with additional languages such as Go, Python, Java, etc. Hands on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker / Kubernetes) Contributions to open source projects

We formulate best-in-class supplement and care products based on clinical studies and in partnership with doctors and medical labs. We sell our products online on eCommerce websites that are powered by our in-house eCommerce platform, built with the Zend Framework (LEMP stack). Our eCommerce platform controls every aspect of our websites as well as many of our business operations, such as customer service, inventory management, deep reporting and analytics and much more.
