Duties: Define architecture and perform design and development for web-based eCommerce applications. Work with several large and complex SQL databases including Microsoft SQL server. Implement highly scalable and performant data stores by working with SOLR Cloud. Utilize PHP with MVC and React to develop software algorithms that streamline back-end business workflow and optimize and improve efficiency of internal applications. Define automated testing roadmap by writing and planning for regression, integration, and unit tests for use by junior developers. Mentor and perform code reviews for junior engineers.

Requirements: Requires a Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience performing design and development using PHP, React. js, GraphQL, or SQL server.

Experience must include one (1) year in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Web development using PHP, JavaScript, and SQL
• Version control using GIT
• Design and development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create scalable applications
• Designing back-end applications using PHP
• Employing engineering and optimization best practices regarding front-end web standards, code maintainability, page rendering, and browser performance
• Developing web applications to ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Defining test plans and performing unit testing
• Performing SQL database development including designing queries, triggers, and stored procedures, performance tuning, and data ETL
• Utilizing Jenkins or Puppet to deploy application code into server environments
• Full-stack web programming using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Mustache, or Handlebars

Will accept a Bachelor s degree plus five (5) years of described experience.

Experience may be gained before, during, or after issuance of advanced degree.
