Due to our continuous growth, the R&D Department at Catena Media is expanding more and more and we now looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join one of our tech squads.

SCOPE OF THE JOB

• As a Full Stack Developer, your responsibility is to create business value, fulfilling User Stories supplied by our Product Owners. At Catena, the development teams are highly agile, self-organizing, self-sufficient and excel at understanding how to solve business problems through clever implementations of code. Being an excellent developer with strong analytical thinking is more important than having experience with all technologies listed. The technology stack we use is based on Javascript, Vue.JS, PHP, NoSQL and relational databases. You will be a contributor to ensuring the business has sufficient, accurate and timely information in order to make crucial business decisions.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Integrate Core products as plugins for our WordPress based platform to deliver features to our online Product portfolio


• Create services and features connected with our REST API’s


• Learn and use new technologies and provide new ideas.


• Manage a distributed plugin portfolio and lifecycle


• Work with stakeholders to ensure features fulfil their requirements


• Work closely with Developers and QA’s to verify functionality and use of systems


• Work closely with Product Owners to materialize the product vision


• Write tests and documentation and perform code reviews


• Deploy your code to live environments


• Assist in the embracing and promotion of the Core strategy and provide visibility to stakeholders so that Core becomes central to decisions made on change initiatives.


• Any other duties as required

TO DO IT, YOU'LL NEED

• You probably have a degree in Computer Science, or skills and experience to match.


• You have proven working experience in a similar role and software development and are well versed on Object-Oriented Design and Development


• Basic visual modelling experience 


• Git


• WordPress experience  


• Object-oriented programming 


• Native PHP


• Native JavaScript


• SQL and NoSQL DBs.


• CSS


• jQuery


• Experience using REST architecture 


• Experience with JavaScript MVC development (any of Vue.js, React…)
